How demand-responsive transport works;
Demand-responsive transport (DRT) is system that operates in areas where there are no regular bus routes. It works like a taxi service and costs around the same as a bus fare.
DRT is for anyone who wants to travel in rural parts of the Stirling Council area, regardless of
- age
- disability
- whether they're a resident or a visitor
If you use DRT, you might share transport with other travellers who are making the same or a similar journey.
When DRT is available?
DRT is available all year round, apart from:
- 25 December
- 26 December
- 1 January
- 2 January
All DRT schemes are available from Monday to Friday. However, some services are not available on other days.
DRT Services that are not available on Saturdays and Sundays:
On Saturdays, there is no DRT service in the following areas:
- Croftamie and Drymen
- Fintry
- Croftamie and Drymen
- Fintry
- Killin and Strathfillan
