Stage of Treatment Waiting Times Edit

This dataset reports key statistics on Inpatient, Day case and New Outpatient Waiting Times, at Boards across Scotland. The date of the next release can be found on our list of\xa0forthcoming publications.\r\n\r\nDue to the live nature of local Patient Management Systems and the national datamart, historical trend data are routinely refreshed from one publication to the next, leading to slight revisions in statistics, particularly those for the previous quarter end. \r\n\r\nAcross NHSScotland, the net effect of all revisions for new outpatients was an increase of 1.1% (+4,436) in the number of additions to list, 0.8% (+4,359) in the number of ongoing waits and 1.3% (+4,141) in the number of attendances compared to previously published figures for quarter ending 31 December 2023. Drawing the same comparison for inpatient and day case treatment, the net effect was an increase of 1.7% (+1,369) additions to list, 0.7% (+1,134) ongoing waits and 0.3% (+160) admissions.\r\n\r\nFor more information, please see the Data quality section of the website.\r\n
